Perspectives – three sides of the story

Who is watching you? What are you doing when you THINK no one is looking?

Below are three different short news stories relating to a situation developing outside of Philadelphia right now. The long and the short of it is that a school district may have misused a security program that allowed them remote access into built in cameras on computers that students had taken home.

Read the three articles; pick a topic/perspective to write a commentary from:

  1. As a student, how paranoid are you now that Big Brother may be invading your privacy?

  2. As a school district, what measures can you go to in an effort to protect your property?

  3. As a software manufacturer, what is your level of responsibility on how your product is used?

Review the above articles relating to the iPad and in the final article the iStore. With more challengers every day to the iPhone (Blackberry Storm, Google Droids, Palm Pre, etc…) that are more free with their business practices, how can Apple continue to differentiate themselves in the phone/mobile device market? Are they in a threatened position?
